Dress code update about messy buns draws criticism for Nebraska hospital
A Nebraska hospital drew criticism about a dress code update on messy buns after a screenshot of the policy went viral, according to media reports.
Bryan Health, located in Lincoln, gave an update to a nursing unit in late June, the health system said in an June. 1 statement.
TikTok personality Nurse Blake posted a screenshot of the update on June 28. The screenshot reads, ‘Dress code update: There is an emphasis on hair being clean, neatly managed, therefore no ‘messy buns.”
Along with the text, the screenshot shows three photos of messy buns that the hospital’s statement described as ‘hair not secured adequately.
